The Session of Central Church invites all to our September dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The free health clinic returns from summer break, open during dinner hours.
This unique service, in honor of St. Francis and his love for all creatures, will be held on our front lawn at 6:00 PM. All pets are welcome and we ask that they be on a leash or in a pet carrier and/or cage.
Central Church will have a team participating in this year's CROP Walk, an annual event to raise funds to ease hunger in our local community and around the world. If you wish to be a part of the team or sponsor a walker, please contact the church office.
Central Church will celebrate Kirkmont Center and the lives of Homer and Steve Watson with this year's kick-off luncheon on October 28. We will combine our worship services for a single service at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. Following worship, join us in Fellowship Hall for lunch. Volunteers to help in the kitchen are needed - to volunteer, please contact the church office or Elder Paula Reams.
In honor of All Saints' Day at our 9:30 worship, we will honor members of Central Church that have passed since November 2017.
Join us at 1:00 PM in our Sanctuary for a concert by award-winning hammered dulcimer player Amanda Roberts. All are welcome!
The ladies (and men!) of Sew Faithful will hold their annual fundraiser on Friday and Saturday, both days from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event includes a large raffle quilt, a silect auction quilt and lots of handmade treasures.
This year's Christmas cantata is entitled "Come Now to Bethlehem" and will take place during our combined worship service at 11:00 AM on December 9. Following worship, the December congregational meeting to elect church officers will be held before we meet in Fellowship Hall for our traditional Christmas luncheon.
Join us for a 1:00 PM Christmas harp duet program in the Sanctuary featuring Kathleen Miguel and our own Leslie Stratton. All are welcome!
